South Africa Daily Lotto
South Africa Daily Lotto is a game which guarantees that the jackpot will be won in every draw, and it’s played every day. The top prize starts at R100,000 and you can purchase tickets online or from authorised retailers. Learn all about the game, including how to play, right here.
Daily Lotto Draws
Daily Lotto draws take place every evening at 9:00pm local time. The only day of the year when it is not held is Christmas Day. To take part, you must purchase your tickets by 8:30pm on the day of the draw.
You can view the latest winning numbers, along with a full prize breakdown, on the Daily Lotto Results page after each draw has taken place.
How to Play and Win Daily Lotto
In Daily Lotto, you have to select five numbers from 1 to 36. You can either choose your own numbers or ask for a Quick Pick to have a random set selected for you. It costs R3 per play and you can play up to five boards on a single playslip.
There is also a Multi-Draw section which allows you to enter your numbers into up to ten consecutive draws. You can play through any participating retailer in South Africa, online or via Ithuba’s National Lottery app.
The winning numbers are selected with the aid of a Random Number Generator (RNG). You win prizes for matching two or more of your chosen numbers with the winning numbers.
The jackpot has to be given away in every draw, so if there are no players in the top division the money will roll down to be added to the prize pool for participants who have matched four of the five numbers. Go to the Prizes page to see the allocation for each prize category.
Daily Lotto is not related to Lotto so you can take part without having to play any other game. It was launched to provide players with a new daily draw where the prize money has to be won every time and there can be no rollovers.
