Australia Weekday Windfall

Weekday Windfall is a lottery that is drawn every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and gives you the opportunity to brighten up your working week. It is a quick and easy game to play, with several ways to win and the chance to become a millionaire.

The top prize is fixed at AU$1 million. This does not “jackpot”, or roll over, if there are no First Division winners in a given draw. If there are between one and six First Division winners, each will receive a full AU$1 million. If there are more than six winners, then AU$6 million is split equally between them all.

Weekday Windfall Draw Schedule

Draws take place on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings, with the results published after 20.30 AEST. You have until 19.30 AEST on the day of the draw to buy tickets.

How to Play – and Win – Weekday Windfall

To play, all you need to do is select six numbers from 1 to 45. Decide how many consecutive draws to enter, then wait for the draw.

Eight numbers are randomly selected, with the last two of these acting as supplementary numbers in order to boost the value of certain non-jackpot prizes. If you match all six main numbers, you’ll win the First Division prize!

Other cash prizes are awarded for matching as few as one or two main numbers and both supplementary numbers, up to matching five main numbers and one supplementary.

The game can be played in Australia at authorised retailers, or online.

Weekday Windfall History

Prior to Weekday Windfall, Monday and Wednesday Lotto were available to play, going under different names such as Gold Lotto, X Lotto and TattsLotto in certain jurisdictions. The decision was made to rebrand these lotteries together under a national identity, leading to the launch of Weekday Windfall. Apart from the name change, the format of the game remained largely the same. The major updates were the addition of a Friday draw, and allowing six millionaires to be made per draw rather than the previous limit of four.
